Methods That Measure Information

Métodos que Miden Información

A black-box framework for understanding how one variable, explanatory group, objective, or complete variable set reduces uncertainty about another variable, objective, or system of objectives.

Central principle Principio central Information capability asks not only whether dependence exists, but how much uncertainty is reduced, where the information comes from, and whether it is unique, shared, redundant, or synergistic.
